September Favourites

Hi everyone,

Because, in the UK, it's nearing the end of September, I thought I'd share some of my favourite things that I've been up to this month. This could include crafts, clothes, books, films... anything, really! Let me know what you've been loving this month too, in the comments below - I'd love to hear about them! :)

The first thing that I want to mention is my camera. This was given to me early this month and I've been really enjoying using it. There's something special about looking through the lense and  snapping a picture. My camera is a Sanyo, and is 5 Mega Pixels. It's the perfect size - it's easy to slip into your pocket and take anywhere with you.
The next thing is autumn crafts. I love the colours of leaves at this time of year and have been having so much fun decorating and using them - click here to find out more. I made some a couple of days ago and scattered them outside - I'm hoping they might make someone smile, if they spot one.
I've been really enjoying rereading some of my favourite books. At the moment, I'm near the end of Lola Rose, by Jacqueline Wilson. I've also read Looking Glass Girl, by Cathy Cassidy, and Girl Online, by Zoe Sugg - I can't wait for the sequel.

And finally, the start of autumn. I love the way all the leaves have started falling and changing colours and that it's starting to get colder. It's good to be able to start layering up in jumpers and scarfs again!
So, those are all my favourites from this month.
Please let me know if you enjoyed this post, and if you'd like to see another monthly favourites post again in the future.
Thank you so much for reading,
From Beth :) x

Autumn Leaf Craft

Today I did an autumn craft, which I really wanted to show you. It was really easy to do - and it only took me around five minutes. The only things you need are a leaf and a pen. I used a sharpie, which I found worked really well and didn't rub away. Alternatively, you could use a felt tip or biro, which would probably be just as good. :)

The first thing I did was choose my leaf. I liked this one because it was so colourful, but any leaf will be fine.

Then I doodled across the leaf! You can keep your design as simple or as crazy and creative as you'd like! I used a black pen but they'd look good multicoloured!

I thought it was really fun to do and I was really pleased with how it turned out. They'd look good stuck on the front of cards or as a picture. Or you could always leave it on the ground outside for someone to find...?
Please let me know if you had a go at this and what you thought in the comments below. Have you done any other crafts lately? I'd love to hear about them :)

Winter ✨

Hello again,

How are you all? I hope you had a good summer. It's now autumn, here in the UK. I love autumn... Conkers, leaves falling from the trees, red, orange, yellow, brown... I'm so excited for winter to come though - I think it's my favourite season.

* I love the cold, fresh air *

* Snuggling under blankets, with hot chocolate and movies *

* Getting dark outside earlier *

* Layering up with jumpers, coats, scarfs and gloves *

* Snow - building snowmen, snowball fights, pulling on wellies and going for walks in the snow *

Christmas is definitely my most favourite time of the year. I love the atmosphere and the build up. I love the excitement and the way that most people are looking forward to it too - everyone always seems to be so happy.

I'm looking forward to bonfire night, too. It's lovely to wrap up warm and go outside to watch the fireworks. Halloween can be good fun too - it's fun to spot people in costumes and guess who they're dressed up as.

There's lots of little things I'm looking forward to this year, too. There's books coming out by my favourite authors, new films and television shows. It'll be lovely to visit family and meet friends - and to spend lots of time with my pets! It's my rabbit's first winter outside - I've heard that bunnies love a little play in the snow. :)

What are you excited for this year? I'd love to hear about it in the comments below... :)
